New For 2010 - BRF Saddle Club
This is designed for beginning children ages 8-12 to become better acquainted with the knowledge and everyday care techniques required to be a horse owner. This program will include literature, videos, and hands on experience. We will also cover grooming, feeding, basic health care, and equipment care. This is designed to provide instruction of things that are not usually covered in regular riding lessons. Please note that while there will be an introduction to riding, it will not be the focus of this program.
Classes will be held on Thursdays, March 4, 11, 18, 25 April 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 and May 6 from 6:30-7:30 pm. The fee is $10 per class or you may make a one time payment in advance of $85 for all 10 classes.
